While working on this mini piece (2x3 inches) I was watching the movie “Blithe Spirit”. It is not supposed to look like Elvira (El-Vera) but it was a funny coincidence that I was working on this black & white image with a touch of color while watching a colorized black & white movie so hence the name. I did end up having my husband switch the TV settings to all b&w as colorized movies aren’t visually appealing to me – those gray teeth and muddy peach on gray skin tones creep me out.
